it is a beautiful story,
fermenting for ages,
waiting to be read
and eventually led.

a reflection of its heart at its worst and its best.

a library is a safe place for lovers of learning.
it is the place where people are yearning to keep pages turning
it is a place where people work towards their goals
in pursuit of the intellect of their souls
and all of its unique roles.

a sister is a role model
she is goodness compressed into a bottle,
warm like a hug,
oh how deep is the cavern of empathy she has dug?
she is more than we deserve,
born into kindness, humbled to serve
this is not about a sister
a playlist is an expression of music.
it is a collection of the lyrics and notes
that transport us to new seas
with ears for boats.
it is a celebration
of the perspiration
incorporated to make a piece worthy of inspiration.
this is not about a playlist.
an airport invokes a desire to see, do, and be more.
it is a place where people explore,
connecting from one journey to the next
on dove like wings, eager to soar.
it is a location where people are pointed towards their way home,
whether already known
or to be fostered and grown.
this is not about an airport.
a constellation is a conglomeration of shining stars.
it is the connection with something that seems so far
and an embodiment of the interconnection between where we’ve been and where we are.
it is a symbol for the love of curiosity and all things awesome and shiny,
a love for grand creations made from things that are tiny.

and i am a constellation
there is nothing in this world that possesses beauty that i cannot see.
interconnected is a mindset, a way to be.
and to all that is beautiful in this world, you will always have a home in me.
